Drawn to the Story: A Selection of Fairy Tale Illustrations

The exhibit Drawn to the Story: A Selection of Fairy Tale Illustrations is presented by the students of Fairy Tale in Literature and Film: Past and Present (Comparative Literature 3810, Spring 2026). The exhibit features illustrations and stories from Tulane University Libraries’ Rare Books Collection, the Amoss Collection, and beyond.

The physical exhibit is on display through April 5, 2026.

The digital exhibit banner illustration is “A Mad Tea Party” by Arthur Rackham as published in the 1907 edition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Both the text and images are in the public domain.
