Canvases of Castles and Creatures

The exhibit Canvases of Castles and Creatures is presented by the students of Grimm Reckonings: The Development of the German Fairy Tale (German 3670, Fall 2024). This exhibit showcases illustrations from famous fairy tales such as The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland, Hansel and Gretel, Puss in Boots, Beauty and the Beast, and many more! These artworks breathe new life into classic tales, capturing their magic, mystery, and timeless lessons. Each piece invites you to explore the artistry behind the stories that have sparked imaginations for generations. The exhibit features illustrations and stories from Tulane University Libraries’ Rare Books and beyond. 

The physical exhibit is on display through Spring 2025.
