Like other sets in the Underwood Travel System, the one on Puerto Rico aimed to recreate the scenes photographer Henry Strohmeyer experienced in person. In addition to guide books, many boxed sets in the Travel System included general and detailed maps showing the location where photographers shot the views. This section will demonstrate how the Underwood patented map system functioned.
