This book by Ellen Knudson / Crooked Letter Press is a structure created as an album of the prints gathered as part of the collaborative Cause : Effect project.
The binding is a stiff-leaf structure of single folded folios that are individually sewn to a concertina spine. The folios are tipped together at the fore edge of each print. The spine is two layers of book cloth that have been letterpress printed with images from the artist’s contribution to the print collection. The book cloth covering the boards is letterpress printed from wood type.
